Having recently used the Eurohike Waterproof Dome Event Shelter whilst camping above Ullswater, we were thoroughly impressed with its numerous features, such as the four zip-away doors. These doors offer the choice of providing shelter from the wind, keeping bugs out, or basking in the sunshine on warmer days. We particularly enjoyed how the doors were easily customisable for various occasions by providing a comfortable outdoor space.
This shelter, fully waterproof with 1500mm HH flysheet and taped seams, kept us dry throughout unpredictable weather. The smart addition of internal storage pockets helped us organise our items and maintain a clutter-free space, while luminous guylines provided extra stability and visibility during the night.
One of the drawbacks of this Eurohike Shelter was the necessity of having at least two people for the setup, limiting its practicality for solo campers. We also found the shelter a bit heavy at 9.4kg, making it less portable for longer-distance trips.
