We recently used the Free Knight 60L rucksack while exploring Scafell Pike. The ergonomic padded shoulder straps and back support proved comfortable to wear even during long hikes, easing the burden on our shoulders and back.
Storage-wise, the main compartment offers ample space for 3-4 days’ worth of gear, with additional side pockets and a separate pouch for shoes. We appreciated the water-resistant qualities, as the additional rain cover provided kept our belongings dry and safe during heavy downpours.
However, we encountered a few areas for improvement. The rucksack material isn’t of the highest quality but still holds up for average use. There’s no internal or external frame, which may affect support for heavier loads. Lastly, the adjustable straps could be more durable and user-friendly for hanging additional gear on the backpack. Overall, it’s a decent option for climbing enthusiasts.
