Gilpin Hotel & Lake House has joined the Savoy in London as one of just two hotels in the UK with three Michelin-starred restaurants.
Knipe Grill at Gilpin Hotel & Lake House in Windermere has been named one of The Michelin Inspectors’ Favourite New Restaurants for June.
The new restaurant at Gilpin Lake House has been lauded for its ‘picturesque location,’ ‘luxurious atmosphere,’ and ‘playful aspect’ added to resident chef Tom ‘Westy’ Westerland’s selection of charcoal-fired Cumbrian cuisine.
Knipe Grill at Gilpin Lake House, along with SOURCE at Gilpin Hotel (which retained its Michelin Star in March) and pan-Asian restaurant Gilpin Spice (added in 2018), makes the property one of only two in the UK & Ireland to have three restaurants featured in the Guide; the Savoy Hotel in London is the other.
