Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa, a multi-award-winning hotel in the northern Lake District, has unveiled 12 magnificent spa garden rooms as part of a £1.5 million upgrade in its luxury offering.
The hotel’s beautiful development, completed in May 2023, is an extension of the recent redecoration of public spaces such as the Lake View restaurant, lounge, and reception rooms.
The new initiative arose in response to increased demand from the premium sector.
Each apartment has a large floor space covering 40-50sqm and merges with the rich, verdant scenery just outside its doors and is accessible via a private terrace.
Natural materials and textures create the impression of cosiness and warmth, while modern fireplaces decorate each apartment.
“At Armathwaite Hall, we are dedicated to continuously improving our guests’ experience, and we are confident that our enhanced and upgraded suites will surpass their expectations, providing them with an exceptional space to unwind and rejuvenate,” the consultant architect for the luxury venue said.
Architect Unwin Jones collaborated with the hotel to create the arrangement of the new spa garden suites.
Each suite has a spacious foyer, a luxurious 4-piece bathroom, a premium bedroom and a lounge with large glass windows that give stunning views of the garden.
The Spa Garden Suites are inspired by the hotel’s natural surroundings, with materials chosen to complement Armathwaite Hall’s ancient architecture.
The hotel and spa have acquired the distinguished 5-bubble rating from the Good Spa Guide.
The Good Spa Guide is considered as a pioneer in the UK spa business, “setting the benchmark for quality, innovation, service, and excellence.”
General manager Simon Steele remarked of the new suites’ completion, “We are excited to announce the completion of our new Spa Garden Suites.”
“The decision to develop these was motivated by the growing high-end leisure market and our spa guests’ increasing demand for spacious and luxurious bedrooms.”
Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa has an incredible location and incorporates the Lake District Wildlife Park within its grounds adjacent to Bassenthwaite Lake.
