The detachable lanyard has two scales on it for you to use 1:25 and 1:50, it’s soft and flexible so you can place it directly over your route so you can measure distances. The luminous markings make the compass markings easy to use in low light levels. The rubber grip makes handling the Ranger S easy even when it’s cold or wet. It includes a declination scale and measuring GPS scales of 1:25 and 1:50.
