Bill Bailey, the comedian, actor, and singer, made a visit to a prominent Lake District hotel and restaurant that is quickly becoming a celebrity hangout.

The comedian, best known for his stand-up comedy and appearances in Black Books, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, QI, and Hot Fuzz, was welcomed by Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa and Mizu pan-Asian restaurant in Borrowdale, near Keswick.

Bill stayed at the hotel as part of a family reunion and dined at the restaurant with his family in the evening. Staff said that Bill and his family’s visit was ‘excellent.’

The restaurant also uploaded a photo of Bill posing with workers on social media, which they claimed brightened their night.

Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa and Mizu Pan has drawn a number of celebrities in the past, including Colin Firth and Simon Pegg.

Molly Mae-Hague, the creative director of Pretty Little Thing, Tommy Fury, and Katy McDermott have also visited The Falls Spa.

Molly and Tommy spent the weekend at the hotel and spa, while Katy treated herself to a spa day and a two-course meal at Mizu Pan.

Mizu Pan was crowned the finest Pan-Asian restaurant in England at the Golden Chopstick awards, which were presented by Gok Wan last year.
